Overview
Centralex is a global digital asset platform founded in early 2019 with roots in blockchain and traditional finance, headquartered in Hong Kong and with an international office footprint spanning two continents. Centralex is designed to be a one-stop shop for cryptocurrency, with services covering everything from crypto trading and storage to banking, decentralized finance, and NFTs. Their vision is to merge traditional finance with blockchain technology in a fully regulated and licensed manner to create something that will improve the financial industry for future generations.
Objective
To create a new centralized crypto exchange both for web and mobile, responsive and all unified within the Centralex UI.

Creative Process
1. Research: Conducted thorough user research and developed detailed personas representing diverse user types within the crypto community. The UI/UX design is tailored to address specific needs, ensuring a personalized and intuitive experience for all users.
2. Wireframing: I translated the gathered insights from my research into preliminary visual representations and interactive models, by creating sketches and wireframes, allowing for a tangible exploration of design concepts before moving forward to the next phases of development.
3. Information Architecture: Designed and implemented an intuitive navigation system that simplifies the user journey throughout the crypto exchange platform. The information architecture is strategically organized, ensuring logical categorization of features and providing easy access to essential functionalities.
4. Responsive Design: Executed a responsive design approach that ensures a consistent and user-friendly experience across both mobile and web platforms. Through careful optimization of layouts, font sizes, and interactive elements, users can seamlessly transition between different devices while enjoying a cohesive design.
Challenges
My main difficulty was understanding the technical aspects of the crypto exchange. Additionally, communicating with our remote team in Russia and Ukraine posed a challenge due to safety concerns and power outages, which is understandable given the ongoing unfortunate events. Despite these challenges, we successfully completed our tasks.
Finalization
The new landing page for the Centralex website, along with the redesigned crypto-responsive exchange website and mobile app, reflected the brand's values and UI, resonating with their target audience through a seamless and appealing UX.
Conclusion
Through careful research and a collaborative design process, I was able to create a unique and effective platform within their UI requirements. Exploring and learning about crypto was both challenging and enjoyable. Presently, the website and mobile app are in the development phase, and I want to express my appreciation to everyone involved for their dedicated efforts.
